동국대학교 법무대학원과 한국공인탐정협회가 공동 주관하는 ‘PIA탐정 최고경영자과정 제83기’가 오는 9월 12일 개강한다.

한국공인탐정협회가 운영하는 이번 과정은 단순한 자격 취득을 넘어 법률 지식과 현장 조사 능력을 갖춘 전문 탐정 양성을 목표로 마련됐다.

26년의 전통을 이어온 한국공인탐정협회는 그동안 약 1만 명 이상의 PIA탐정사 전문 인력을 배출해 왔다.

제83기 과정 역시 급변하는 사회 환경과 다양해지는 분쟁·범죄 양상에 대응할 수 있도록 실무 활용도가 높은 30개 강좌로 구성됐다.

주요 교육과정은 기업조사와 브랜드 조사, 민·형사소송 증거자료 수집, 사실조사 및 신원조사, 실종자·가출인 소재 파악, 보험범죄 및 교통사고 조사 등이다.

또한 사이버범죄와 디지털포렌식, 산업보안 및 지식재산권 조사, 도·감청 탐색, 추적·탐문·미행 기법 등 전문적인 조사 분야도 교육한다.

특히 수사와 조사 분야에서 풍부한 경험을 갖춘 전문가와 교수진이 강사로 참여해 실제 사건 사례를 중심으로 한 현장 대응 기법과 상담 절차 등을 교육할 예정이다.

교육은 9월 12일부터 매주 토요일 오전 10시부터 오후 6시까지 진행되며, 총 12주간 약 80시간의 교육으로 운영된다. 

교육 장소는 동국대학교 법무대학원이며, 모집 인원은 선착순 30명이다.

지원 자격에는 군·경찰 수사 및 조사 경력자를 비롯해 법무법인과 신용정보회사 종사자, 기업 조사·감사·보안 담당자, 탐정 및 경호업 종사자, 관련 분야 교수·강사 등이 포함된다. 

탐정 분야에 관심 있는 만 18세 이상 일반인도 지원할 수 있다.

과정 수료자에게는 동국대학교 총장 명의의 수료증과 수료패가 수여된다. 

아울러 PIA탐정사 자격증과 자격인증서, ID카드, 실무 교재, PIA 조끼 및 배지 등도 제공된다.

수료 및 자격 취득 후에는 관련 법령이 허용하는 범위에서 탐정법인 취업이나 개인 사무실 창업 등이 가능하며, 민·형사소송 증거자료 수집, 기업·브랜드 조사, 보험·금융 조사, 공익신고 및 사회안전 분야 등 다양한 전문 영역에서 활동할 수 있다.

 하금석 한국공인탐정협회 회장은 세계최초 탐정박사 1호, 법학박사 학위를 취득한 탐정 전문가로  “복잡해지는 사회적 분쟁 속에서 개인과 기업의 권익을 보호하는 탐정의 역할이 날로 중요해지고 있다”며 “이번 과정을 통해 법률 지식과 실무 능력, 철저한 직업윤리를 갖춘 정예 탐정 인력을 배출하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

The ‘83rd PIA Detective Executive Management Course,’ jointly organized by Dongguk University Graduate School of Law and the Korea Private Investigators Association, will begin on September 12.

Operated by the Korea Private Investigators Association, this course is designed to go beyond simple qualification acquisition and aims to cultivate professional detectives equipped with legal knowledge and on-site investigation capabilities.

Maintaining a 26-year tradition, the Korea Private Investigators Association has produced over 10,000 professional PIA detectives.

The 83rd course is also composed of 30 highly practical lectures designed to enable participants to respond to the rapidly changing social environment and the diversifying nature of disputes and crimes. The main curriculum covers corporate and brand investigations, collection of evidence for civil and criminal litigation, fact-finding and background checks, locating missing persons and runaways, and investigations into insurance fraud and traffic accidents.

In addition, training is provided in specialized investigative fields such as cybercrime and digital forensics, industrial security and intellectual property investigation, wiretapping detection, and tracking, interrogation, and shadowing techniques.

In particular, experts and faculty members with extensive experience in investigation and inquiry will participate as instructors to teach on-site response techniques and counseling procedures based on actual case studies.

The training will take place every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM starting September 12, running for a total of 12 weeks and approximately 80 hours of instruction.

The training will be held at the Graduate School of Law at Dongguk University, and enrollment is limited to 30 people on a first-come, first-served basis.

Eligibility requirements include individuals with experience in military or police investigations, employees of law firms and credit information companies, corporate investigation, audit, and security personnel, private detectives and bodyguards, and professors and lecturers in related fields. General public aged 18 or older with an interest in the field of private investigation are also eligible to apply.

Completion certificates and plaques issued in the name of the President of Dongguk University will be awarded to those who complete the course.
