고양특례시가 고양산업진흥원과 함께 민선 9기 미래산업 육성을 위한 전략 마련에 본격적으로 나섰다.

고양특례시는 지난 10일 창조혁신캠퍼스 성사에서 미래산업과와 고양산업진흥원 임직원 등 40여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘민선 9기 미래산업 발전 정책 워크숍’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 워크숍은 민선 9기 미래산업 분야의 정책 방향과 청사진을 공유하고, 이를 실제 사업으로 구현하기 위한 실행력을 높이기 위해 마련됐다. 

특히 시와 진흥원 간 역할과 기능을 재정립하고, 조직·예산·인력·시설 등 가용자원을 효율적으로 활용하는 방안이 중점적으로 논의됐다.

참석자들은 먼저 양 기관의 업무를 면밀히 점검하고 유사·중복사업을 정비하는 한편, 핵심사업을 중심으로 인력과 예산을 재배분하는 방안을 검토했다. 

아울러 기존 보유시설의 활용도를 높여 사업 추진의 효율성을 강화하는 방안도 논의했다.

미래 전략산업 분야에서는 고양시의 새로운 성장동력 확보를 위한 다양한 방안이 제시됐다.

항공·우주 분야에서는 관련 기업과 연구·지원기관 등을 연계한 항공우주산업 클러스터 조성 전략을 검토했으며, 방송영상·콘텐츠 분야에서는 K-콘텐츠 생산기지 구축과 방송영상산업 클러스터 활성화를 위한 방향을 논의했다.

이와 함께 AI와 바이오, UAM 등 첨단 미래산업 분야의 혁신기업을 적극 유치하고, 이를 지역경제 활성화와 양질의 일자리 창출로 연결하기 위한 투자유치 전략도 논의 테이블에 올랐다.

고양시는 이번 워크숍에서 제시된 현장 의견과 정책 제안을 민선 9기 미래산업 주요 정책 및 사업계획에 적극 반영할 계획이다. 

고양산업진흥원과의 협력도 지속적으로 강화해 사업별 우선순위를 설정하고 조직과 예산을 효율적으로 배분하는 등 구체적인 실행방안을 마련한다는 방침이다.

시 관계자는 “이번 워크숍은 고양시와 고양산업진흥원이 힘을 모아 미래산업 정책의 실효성을 높이는 중요한 계기가 됐다”며 “논의된 내용이 단순한 계획에 머물지 않고 기업 유치와 일자리 창출 등 고양시의 실질적인 경제성과로 이어질 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

고양시는 앞으로 미래산업 분야별 정책을 구체화하고 기업 및 유관기관과의 협력을 확대해 미래산업 경쟁력을 강화해 나갈 예정이다.

Goyang Special City announced that it held the ‘9th Elected Administration Future Industry Development Policy Workshop’ on the 10th at the Creative Innovation Campus Seongsa, with approximately 40 attendees including employees from the Future Industry Division and the Goyang Industry Promotion Agency.

This workshop was organized to share policy directions and blueprints for the future industry sector during the 9th administration, and to enhance the capacity for implementation to translate these into actual projects.

In the broadcasting, video, and content sector, directions for establishing a K-content production base and revitalizing the broadcasting and video industry cluster were discussed.

Furthermore, investment attraction strategies were discussed to actively attract innovative companies in cutting-edge future industries such as AI, bio, and UAM, and to link this to regional economic revitalization and the creation of high-quality jobs.

Goyang City plans to actively incorporate the on-site opinions and policy proposals presented at this workshop into the major policies and business plans for future industries under the 9th popularly elected administration.
