파주소방서가 15년 동안 소방청사 환경정비에 자발적으로 참여해 온 지동묵 前 금촌의용소방대장에게 감사와 존경의 뜻을 담은 표창을 수여했다.

파주소방서는 지난 10일 서장 집무실에서 지동묵 前 금촌의용소방대장에게 ‘소방청사 환경정비 장기 봉사 유공’ 표창을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이번 표창은 지 前대장이 지난 15년간 소방청사 주변 환경정비에 꾸준히 참여하며 청사를 깨끗하고 쾌적하게 유지하는 데 기여한 공로를 기리기 위해 마련됐다.

지동묵 前대장은 오랜 기간 소방청사 주변의 환경정비 활동에 자발적으로 참여해 잡초 제거와 주변 정리 등 다양한 봉사활동을 이어오며 소방공무원들이 보다 쾌적한 환경에서 근무하고 현장 대응에 전념할 수 있도록 힘을 보탰다.

특히 일회성 봉사에 그치지 않고 15년이라는 긴 시간 동안 한결같은 마음으로 봉사를 이어왔다는 점에서 지역사회에 귀감이 되고 있다.
