파주시가 수시 원서 접수를 앞두고 수험생과 학부모들에게 실질적인 대학입시 정보를 제공하기 위해 마련한 ‘2027학년도 파주시 대학진학박람회’가 뜨거운 관심 속에 성황리에 마무리됐다.

파주시는 지난 8일 운정행복센터에서 파주교육지원청과 공동으로 개최한 이번 박람회에 수험생과 학부모들의 발길이 이어지며 하루 종일 행사장이 붐볐다고 밝혔다.

이번 박람회는 대학별 전형 정보와 학생 개개인의 지원 가능성을 꼼꼼하게 점검할 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램으로 구성됐다. 

특히 고교학점제 도입에 맞춰 선택과목 설계와 진로 방향 탐색, 학습 성격 유형 검사 등을 진행하는 특별부스를 새롭게 마련해 고3 수험생뿐만 아니라 고1·고2 학생들에게도 진로와 진학을 미리 준비할 수 있는 기회를 제공했다.

1대 1 맞춤형 진학 상담에는 경기도교육청 대입진학지도 리더 교사 30명이 참여했다. 

학생들은 자신의 성적과 희망 대학, 진로 등을 바탕으로 개별 상담을 받으며 수시 지원 전략과 대학별 전형에 대한 구체적인 조언을 얻었다.

대학별 홍보·상담관에는 서울을 비롯해 경기·인천, 충청권 소재 35개 대학이 참여했다. 

각 대학 입학사정관들은 현장에서 학생과 학부모들을 직접 만나 대학별 전형의 특징과 지원 방법, 준비사항 등을 안내하며 입시 정보를 제공했다.

대입 특강도 마련돼 수험생들의 높은 관심을 끌었다. 

대입진학지도 리더교사인 조원배 강사는 ‘수시 대비 대입 특강’을 통해 수시전형의 주요 흐름과 효과적인 준비 방향을 설명하고, 수험생들이 자신의 상황에 맞는 입시 전략을 세울 수 있도록 실질적인 정보를 전달했다.

이번 박람회는 공공기관이 직접 주관하는 진학 지원 프로그램을 통해 지역 내 입시 정보 격차를 줄이고, 학생과 학부모들이 신뢰할 수 있는 진로·진학 정보를 한자리에서 얻을 수 있도록 했다는 점에서 의미를 더했다.
