고양특례시 일산동구도서관이 시민과 공직자가 함께 청렴의 가치를 되새길 수 있는 독서 프로그램을 마련했다.

일산동구도서관은 오는 9월 11일까지 아람누리·마두·풍동·식사도서관 등 4개 도서관에서 청렴 북큐레이션 ‘청력(淸力)충전’을 운영한다고 5일 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 지난 7월 20일부터 각 도서관 종합자료실에서 진행되고 있으며, 책을 매개로 청렴 문화를 확산하고 시민들의 청렴 의식을 높이기 위해 기획됐다.

도서관마다 청렴을 주제로 엄선한 추천도서 10권을 전시하며, 방문객들은 다른 참여 도서관의 추천도서 목록도 함께 확인할 수 있으며 또 관내에 없는 도서는 상호대차 서비스를 통해 다른 도서관에서 편리하게 대출할 수 있도록 안내해 이용 편의를 높였고 특히 시민이 직접 참여하는 ‘청렴 도서 필사 코너’도 함께 운영된다.

참여자들은 다산 정약용의 「정선 목민심서(창비, 2026)」에 담긴 주요 구절을 손으로 옮겨 적으며 청렴의 의미를 되새기고 실천 의지를 다지는 시간을 가졌다.

일산동구도서관 관계자는 “책을 통해 시민과 공직자가 자연스럽게 청렴의 가치를 공감하고 실천 의지를 키우는 계기가 되길 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 도서관 자료를 활용한 다양한 프로그램을 통해 조직과 지역사회 전반에 청렴 문화를 확산해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
