파주시의회가 지난 23일부터 이틀에 걸쳐 관내 주요 기관들을 잇달아 찾으며 제9대 전반기 의회의 현장 소통 행보를 본격화했다.

최유각 의장을 비롯한 의원단은 이번 방문을 통해 유관기관과의 협력 관계를 다지는 한편, 현장에서 나온 목소리를 실제 의정활동에 담아내겠다는 뜻을 밝혔다.

방문 첫날 파주경찰서를 찾은 의장단은 지역 치안 관련 현안 설명을 듣고, 교통안전 문제 등 시민 관심사에 대해 질의를 이어갔으며 시의원과 경찰 모두 시민을 위해 일한다는 공통점을 확인하며 앞으로도 꾸준히 소통하고 협력해 나가자는 데 공감했다.
